On December 13, 2011 Arizona Culinary Institute students along with Chef Wilson will visit Phoenix Children's Hospital. ACI will be bringing Gingerbread Houses for the children to decorate. This was the idea of current student Ariel Herr who arranged this event. ACI hopes to make this an annual event.
Arizona Culinary Institute is excited to announce the addition of Chef Tracy DeWitt to the faculty. Chef DeWitt will be teaching Advanced Baking and Pastry beginning January 9, 2012. Arizona Culinary Institute's Chef Scott Meyer donated his time and skills to decorate a cake for the Make A Wish Foundation. The Foundation wanted a cake for a little girl with a princess theme. ACI Graduate Brian Shimp is with the local Make A Wish Foundation and will be presenting the cake on September 3, 2011.
