Hello from ACI! I hope you are all doing well out there and that you are safely navigating the beginning stages of Hell on Earth (also known as Summer in Arizona)!
For this newsletter, I wanted to pay tribute to one of our wonderful instructors who recently decided to move on to pursue other adventures in the culinary world. Yes, I am sad to report that Chef Tyler Romine is no longer a permanent member of our teaching staff. I phrase it that way because I am hoping that in times of need, perhaps he’ll pop back in for a guest teaching gig. But for the time being, Chef Romine has moved on from ACI.
Chef was a very impactful member of our team, and I’m hoping that many of you reading this were fortunate enough to have him as an instructor. I admit that I am more than a little biased in my opinion of Chef Romine because not only was he a very valuable member of our instructor team and a close personal friend, but he was also one of my Basics students many years ago. For those of you who know him, it will probably not surprise you to hear that he was about as good of a student as you could possibly ask for. ACI was proud to have him as both a student and an instructor.
We wish him all the success in the world. If he was your instructor, consider yourself lucky to have been taught by one of the best. Best wishes out there, Chef. And, to anyone reading this, thanks for being a part of our ACI family. Until next time, take care.
