Job Summary

Gyro House 32 is looking for a dependable cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll prepare gyros, shawarma, bowls, salads, and other menu items; help keep orders moving during busy shifts; and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

We’re looking for someone with kitchen experience who takes pride in good food, consistent quality, and working well with a team. You must be able to speak English to communicate with coworkers and guests. Occasionally, you’ll also help at the front counter by taking orders or assisting with pickup.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation by following established recipes and culinary standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poachers, braising units, and food processors
• Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques during meal prep and service

Requirements

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitizing procedures in a professional kitchen setting
• Experience with food production processes
• Skilled in various cooking techniques including grilling
• Prior restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
