Full-time (40 Hours per Week) Monday - Friday
8:00am-5:00pm Phoenix Standard Time
Note: 15% of Nights and Weekends Work is Expected

Work from Work, Onsite at a Beautiful In-Home Test Kitchen and Office
*Candidates must live within ten miles of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve (more than ten miles but still located in Phoenix/Scottsdale is also okay), and have a quiet home workspace for occasional remote workdays to be eligible for this role
Here at Handle the Heat™, we're passionate about traditional baking (no Keto recipes) and the science of sweets. We're a small but mighty team, andmillions worldwide enjoy our recipes and baking tips.
We LOVE what we do and are looking for someone equally excited and eager about helping our audience improve their baking skills with every recipe posted as we grow and scale.
Our Founder and CEO, Tessa, needs a right-hand assistant who's equally comfortable in the kitchen as they are with handling personal details and errands.
In this role, you will support Tessa in various professional and personal tasks to conserve her time, energy, and creativity to grow the business to new heights.

Recipe Influencer's Right-Hand Assistant Key Responsibilities with Success Metrics
#1) Maintain a clean, organized kitchen with a fully stocked pantry for photo and video production days, recipe testing, and everyday use.
Success Metric: 100% of ingredients are readily available for test kitchen recipes
Success Metric: Make an average of two grocery runs per week to re-stock ingredients
#2) Coordinate schedules for all involved parties on production days, effectively communicate changes, and adjust priorities to ensure a timely and productive shoot. After each shoot, upload digital assets and files to the content library following organizational protocols.
Success Metric: Zero production delays due to scheduling conflicts
Success Metric: Upload and organize two hours' worth of usable content into the content library within 24 hours after each shoot
#3) Triage Tessa's primary email inbox daily by reviewing all emails so they can be flagged for her input, responded to immediately, archived, or deleted.
Success Metric: Achieve zero inbox once a day by 4:00 P.M. Phoenix Standard Time
Success Metric: 90% of emails are handled without Tessa's input
#4) Maximize and maintain efficiency by providing a succinct weekly report on the status of projects, tasks, questions, calendar conflicts, etc., proactively resolving all bottlenecks, responding to social media comments, and resolving small technical issues.
Success Metric: Deliver the weekly report every Friday by 2:00 P.M. Phoenix Standard Time
Success Metric: Resolve all bottlenecks and small technical issues within 24 hours of catching them
Success Metric: Respond to relevant comments, questions, and DMs under recipe content on social media within 24 hours of receiving them
#5) Manage daily healthy lunch prep, the scheduling of household personnel and contractors, and complete package drop-offs.
Success Metric: Prepare or order quick, healthy lunches in 30 minutes or less, five days a week, for Tessa and yourself
Success Metric: Zero scheduling overlap between housekeepers, contractors, and other specialists visiting the house
Success Metric: All packages ready to ship are dropped off at common carrier by the end of the day (daily UPS, USPS, and FedEx runs)

- Baking excites you - even the ingredient preparation, grocery shopping, and dish washing
- You love to cross off to-dos and live inside your planner or calendar app
- Friends and family call you a "people-pleaser," but you simply enjoy making people's lives easier
- You are detail-oriented, but also able to communicate succinctly
- You have experience in the hospitality or food service industry - and LOVE providing great customer experiences
- Google Suite is easy to navigate for you (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, etc.) and you are tech savvy in general
