du Jour Dining

Definition of du jour

1 : French for “of the day.” Used in restaurants to describe a dish that is available on a particular day.

Fine Dining Meets Student Laboratory

Learning in school is one thing. Applying it on the job is another. Our student-run restaurant, du Jour, allows students to apply their knowledge to a professional working environment. Du Jour is one part fine dining restaurant, and one part student laboratory. The du Jour menu changes daily, allowing students to refine the techniques they’ve learned in class while preparing scratch-made dishes using the freshest ingredients. Students say the experience they gain in the restaurant is some of the most meaningful and memorable.

Gift Certificates to Du Jour restaurant are available and make the perfect gift for any occasion.
