Cinnaholic Gilbert is hiring a Part-Time Baker with the opportunity to become Full-Time!
Cinnaholic is a 100% plant-based bakery specializing in gourmet cinnamon rolls with a variety of delicious frostings and toppings. We also offer a variety of baked goods, desserts, cakes, brownies, cookies, and other sweet treats.
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, takes pride in their work, and can maintain a clean and organized kitchen while keeping up in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, proof, and bake Cinnaholic's signature cinnamon rolls
- Prepare and bake other baked goods, desserts, cookies, brownies, cakes, and specialty items
- Follow recipes and food preparation standards consistently
- Prepare frostings, toppings, fillings, and other ingredients
- Ensure products are fresh, properly prepared, and presented
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking area
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Properly store and label ingredients and prepared products
- Monitor inventory and communicate when ingredients or supplies are running low
- Help with opening and closing bakery duties as needed
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with other bakery and store duties when needed
Qualifications
- Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Comfortable working with commercial ovens and kitchen equipment
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move bakery supplies when needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in making great products and wants to be part of a growing local business. Experience with baking, pastries, cakes, or commercial kitchens is a plus.
This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time for the right person based on performance, reliability, and business needs.
