We are seeking a strong Store Manager to lead daily operations, uphold performance standards, and ensure a consistently outstanding customer experience.
This role works closely with ownership and is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in running a high-performing, customer-focused operation.
Position Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for executing daily operations, leading the team, and ensuring compliance with company standards for performance, service, and food safety. This role carries full responsibility for maintaining operational discipline, enforcing procedures, coaching staff, and addressing performance issues when necessary.
Successful candidates are confident leaders who hold themselves and their teams accountable while fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily store operations and shift execution
- Lead, train, coach, and supervise team members
- Uphold performance expectations and enforce company policies
- Provide corrective coaching and address performance issues when needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency
- Maintain merchandising, product quality, and cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
- Support sales growth through merchandising and customer engagement
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional workplace environment
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years management experience in food service, grocery, specialty retail, or restaurant operations
- Demonstrated leadership and team accountability experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- ServSafe Manager Certification (required prior to hire)
Preferred
- Experience in butcher, meat department, grocery, or food retail environment
- Experience managing inventory, shrink, or food cost controls
