Position Overview
Family in North Scottsdale is seeking an experienced and creative Private Chef to oversee all culinary needs within their home. The ideal candidate will be passionate about high-quality, seasonal cuisine with an emphasis on organic ingredients, raw food preparation, and pasture-raised proteins.
This role requires an individual who can plan and execute daily meals, accommodate dietary preferences, manage kitchen inventory, and ensure a clean and organized environment—all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare daily meals tailored to the family’s preferences, nutritional goals, and schedule.
- Create weekly menus emphasizing freshness, seasonality, and health-conscious ingredients.
- Source and procure the finest organic and sustainable ingredients, including pasture-raised meats and local produce.
- Prepare raw and minimally processed dishes as requested.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food safety, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with household staff to ensure seamless meal service and kitchen maintenance.
- Accommodate special occasions, holidays, or entertaining as needed.
- Maintain full confidentiality and respect the family’s privacy at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a private chef or in a high-end restaurant environment.
- Strong background in healthy cuisine, raw food techniques, and organic ingredient sourcing.
- Excellent menu planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently.
- Must pass background and reference checks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
