Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chocolatier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a particular focus on chocolate and candy confections. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that delight our customers. In addition to crafting exquisite chocolates, the Chocolatier will play a key role in customer engagement, store operations, and brand storytelling — ensuring every touchpoint reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of chocolate confections, including truffles, bonbons, and molded chocolates
- Decorate candy molds
- Package finished products attractively for retail sale or catering orders
- Collaborate with the culinary team on new recipes and seasonal offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in both kitchen and retail spaces, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including baking and cooking
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs
- Greet customers warmly and guide them through our product offerings and brand story
- Open and close the retail store, ensuring all operational procedures are followed
- Represent the brand at farmers markets, pop-ups, and special events
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in chocolate production a plus.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge food preparation methods
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for retail products
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations
- Previous experience in catering, high-end restaurant
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in product presentation
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Comfort with public-facing roles, including event participation and brand representation
