Summary

Our Bakers work closely with the Culinary Manager to produce a rotating menu of minimalist, modern, nostalgic and seasonal pastries. These include yeasted and quick breads, laminated doughs, cookies, and vegan/gluten-free items — all delivered daily to our Phoenix-area cafés.

Responsibilities

• Produce baked goods and ready-to-eat food for our retail locations
• Follow daily and weekly prep guides
• Prepare and package baked goods for Cartel cafés
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
• Collaborate with teammates and support new menu rollouts
• Attend required meetings and trainings
• Work independently and uphold Cartel’s values

Qualifications

• Professional baking or food prep experience preferred
• Experience with dough lamination is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable using Google Drive tools
• Able to multitask and work well with a team
• Can safely lift and move 50–100 pounds
• Strong basic math skills for recipe scaling
