Happy Valley Charter School invited Chef Rebecca Chazan to speak at their morning assemblies today. Students are studying “Heroes” and included Chefs in the group of careers that they wanted to learn about. They are studying Julia Childs and Emeril Lagasse. To decorate for the assembly, they made a wall of photos of themselves as chefs! Rebecca spoke to them about the day-to-day life of a chef as well as what culinary school is all about . Even at a young age, they had great questions about where they could take a culinary career.
