A note From the Executive Chef May 2021

May 2021

Hello ACI family!  I wanted to make a few quick announcements from campus:

First of all, if ANY of you are looking for work, need a job, or having a tough time finding employment, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t struggle out there alone!  Call us, stop by, get in touch.  There are so many employers reaching out to us looking to hire.  Places are really struggling to staff their kitchens.  Jobs are available and abundant.  We can help connect you with employers today.  Contact our amazing Placement Director, Sue Lane, and let’s get everyone back to work!

Secondly, if things continue to improve here in AZ, we are hoping to resume Open Houses and extracurricular student classes in the second half of this year.  So keep your eyes peeled for some of our favorite stand-by’s like Fruit and Vegetable carving, Sushi, and Molecular Gastronomy.  Keep those fingers crossed.

Thirdly, we are very excited to announce that we have been given permission to hold an actual in-person graduation ceremony this June for our graduating students.  If all goes well, we hope to plan graduations to honor all of the students who completed the program during the pandemic but were unable to have an actual graduation ceremony.  We believe that finishing this program is something that should be celebrated, and we want to make sure that you are all honored appropriately.  Stay tuned!

That’s it for now.  Stay safe and keep cooking
