Hello ACI family! Happy New Year! I hope your 2023 is off to a great start. I just wanted to say hello. It’s that crazy time of year here in the Valley where every major event is getting ready to start and all the seasonal residents are back in town. Work opportunities are plentiful right now to say the least. I hope you’re all out there taking advantage of the busy season. As always, if you’re having any trouble finding work, our phone is still ringing constantly with people wanting to hire our students, so Sue Lane in the Placement Department has lots of opportunities to share. Give us a call or stop by if you need any help finding work.
And, my little PSA for the month: even though there are lots of work opportunities right now, and I fully encourage taking advantage of doing as much work as possible during the busy season, don’t forget to take care of yourself. Get some rest (occasionally), sleep when you can, hydrate, get outside and enjoy the amazing weather, cook yourself something nice, or just do something to make yourself happy. Just remember to find occasional moments to decompress…physically, mentally, emotionally, whatever you need. It makes “the grind” suck just a little bit less. We love you all, and we’re super proud of you. Take care everybody.
