An executive chef by the tender age of 19, it was obvious from the start that Chef Wilson had a promising career ahead. However, it wasn’t until he combined his two great passions—cooking and teaching— that his destiny became clear. Chef Wilson happily taught at a privately-owned culinary school through the nineties, until it was purchased by a national chain. When he saw the quality of education eroding, he became a man on a mission. Determined to offer what the other schools no longer were; Chef Wilson set out to create a highly individualized program that truly prepared students for the industry. This is how the Arizona Culinary Institute was born.
